When designing the form, I continued a similar design language from elements of Attavanti – once again inspired by Baroque craftsmen in the 18th century who were in contrast to classical compositions by breaking the orderly visual frame lines and borders of classical work searching for ‘the flux things in their perpetual becoming’. This theosophical sentiment of the ‘dynamic inward archetype’ seemed a natural alignment with my 21st century experience of psychedelics and exploration of dimethyltryptamine.

The decorative top half was designed and made with imperfection and order in mind, constructed with leaf inspired forms united by underlying geometric structure. Each diamond set ‘leaf’ was positioned individually and then sub sequentially filled, polished, soldered, drilled and welded to the designated position. Every aspect of the piece was polished to a highly reflective finish.

Sitting in the top of the vessel is a 1ct cushion cut diamond platinum ring surrounded by 18kt gold diamond set half rings.
